La información histórica
La Moth-ki-Masjid fue construida en 1662. Hoy está un poco olvidado y ahogado en medio de construcciones no autorizadas en Delhi.
Arquitectura
La mezquita está elevada sobre un pedestal alto y tiene planta cuadrada. El material principal es la piedra arenisca.

Mitos y leyendas
Según otra leyenda, el sultán, que vino a rezar, se arrodilló. Justo delante de él, el pájaro dejó caer un grano de lenteja. Desde fuera parecía como si el propio gobernante estuviera adorando a la semilla. Entonces el visir dijo que, después de tales honores, la semilla de lentejas debía secarse definitivamente, plantarse en la tierra y obtener varias cosechas.
